Just some recent bits on Ruby On Rails.

The Keynote presentation by David Heinemeier Hansson on RailsConf 2007 it’s online now. There you can find a peak at what Rails 2.0 will bring. Things like breakpoints, query cache or a new style of (sexy) migrations. Really something to look forward to.

And after the presentation also on RailsConf 2007 of Hampton Catlin (the creator of HAML) and Jeffrey Hardy, the plugin make_resourceful was finally released, an alpha version at least. This plugin helps with all the normal CRUD methods, using REST and enabling multiple publishing formats: xml, yml, json… Check out the presentation for more information and examples.
