This is a presentation about personal skills. When our web developing job is becoming less and less an engineering task and more about developing ideas and creating experiences, our skill must also change. To get fuzzy is to stop being an specialized expert and becoming a blur of different skills. A good quote from the author on the subject:
It’s about pushing past the commodity—the end product or service which can be outsourced. It’s about putting aside egos, getting out of silos and mixing it up with each other—I mean really mixing it up.
The “presentation” was made by David Armano, author of the Logic+Emotion blog. He was also one of the chosen bloggers of the recently released book The Age of Conversation. The Fuzzy Tail, a name twisted from The Long Tail, was made for the Summer Event of Critical Mass.
